According to the X handle formerly known as Twitter the President of the Republic of Uganda posted pictures of a Meeting he held yesterday in the state house at Nakasero where he claimed he had a productive meeting with Starlink representatives, Ben MacWilliams and Brandi Oliver.
These were taken to the state house in Nakasero by the Ambassador Adonia and Ambassador Popp. It can be recalled that a week back Starlink applied for the license to start Operations in Uganda and having had a productive meeting with the head of state of the Republic of Uganda we are expecting to see starlink starting operations sooner.
The president of the Republic of Uganda on the post he shared on his X handle he appreciated the commitment of Starlink in providing low cost internet in hard to reach areas and establishing a presence in Uganda and he welcomed them. This has left many citizens in Uganda appreciating and happy to welcome Starlink services because they are know for their high speeds and high coverage.
