The Ugandan music scene is in shock after Emmanuel Bwiire, one-half of the talented Benti Boys duo, was reported missing. His music partner, Steven, shared the distressing news during a recent interview on Baba TV and via their Instagram page.
According to Steven, Bwiire has not been reachable since the afternoon when he left their home in his car. “Emma’s phones have been off since around 2 PM. He left with the car and hasn’t been available on calls or WhatsApp,” Steven revealed, expressing deep worry.
The duo had last been together the previous night at Temperature Touch Studios before heading out for a performance at Pier One. Steven explained that their close working relationship always involved frequent communication, making Bwiire’s sudden silence extremely unusual.
Addressing ongoing speculation, Steven dismissed any claims that Bwiire’s disappearance could be politically motivated, stating that his partner had no affiliations with any political group or activity.
He is now urging the public to assist in any way possible. Anyone with information about Bwiire’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact local authorities or the Benti Boys’ management team immediately.
