Kabuye Semboga to Celebrate 42 Years in Music with a Concert: Dates and Venue Revealed

On May 23, 2025, legendary Ugandan musician Kabuye Semboga will celebrate an incredible 42 years in the music industry with a monumental concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel. This highly anticipated event, organized by Balunywa Promotions, promises an unforgettable experience for fans, featuring a stellar lineup and top-tier production.

During a press conference held at the Kampala Serena Hotel on March 19, Juma Balunywa of Balunywa Promotions highlighted the event’s significance as a historic occasion for Ugandan music. He emphasized that the concert will honor Semboga’s remarkable legacy with a high-quality live performance crafted to deliver an authentic and nostalgic experience.

Kabuye Semboga assured fans of an electrifying live-band performance that will feature his timeless hits, including “Ebisanyi,” “Kangume,” “Sheila,” and “Fahima.” He described the night as a journey through his illustrious four-decade career, allowing audiences to relive some of Uganda’s most iconic songs.

The concert will also showcase performances by top Ugandan artists such as Aziz Azion, Betty Mpologoma, Mesach Ssemakula, Geoffrey Lutaaya, and Bruno K. In addition, surprise acts are expected to add even more excitement to the night.

Balunywa Promotions has promised a spectacular production, with cutting-edge sound, lighting, and stage design creating an immersive experience for attendees. A full live band will accompany all performers, underscoring the event’s commitment to musical excellence.
